Elder Glenn Johnson is the Senior Pastor at Family of Faith Christian Church in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He successfully completed high school in Eau Gallie, Florida within the top ten percent of his class and was involved in the National Achievement Scholarship Program that recognizes outstanding black American high school students. He was elected as vice president of the Exchange Club. After graduating from high school, he attended Lincoln Business College in Orlando, Florida. Then he enlisted in the United States Air Force the following September.
During his military career of twenty-six years, he visited four of the seven continents. Included in the places visited were Phan Phang, South Vietnam; Korat, Thailand; Osan, South Korea; RAF Chicksands, England; Madrid, Spain; Morocco, Africa (Motherland). In addition, numerous points in the continental United States, Los Angeles, California; Wrightstown, New Jersey; Montgomery, Alabama; Clovis, New Mexico; Shreveport, Louisiana and Biloxi, Mississippi. His educational pursuits include acquiring two Community College of the Air Force Associates of Arts degrees in Resource Management (1981); Financial Management (1985); Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland (major in Management Studies, minor in Accounting) 1989. In addition, he attended Grace Theological Seminary (West Campus) Long Beach, California; Faith Seminary, Los Angeles, California pursing his Masters of Divinity Degree, which he plans to complete in the near future. He became a certified marriage counselor by Marriage Ministry International (MMI) in Denver, Colorado for marriage counseling, trainings and workshops. He is the founder of Anointed In Marriage (AIM) and has a monthly radio broadcast on the first Friday of each month at 3:00 p.m., WQFX (1130 AM on your radio dial).
Even though he accomplished many things, visited many different places, been saved and filled with the precious Holy Spirit of the Lord, God had a special calling upon his life, which he accepted. In August 1983 he was licensed, then ordained in January 1987 by the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Pastor Johnson is married to the former Carolyn Weathersby of Biloxi, Mississippi. God blessed them with two children, Edrick Darius Johnson and Rachelle Denise Johnson-Love. They also have one grandson, Kaelan Xavier Love.
